A real, working chocolate factory on the shores of Lough Derg, where you can walk in free, watch the chocolatiers at work and make your own bar.
Entry is free and the factory is open to the public Monday to Saturday. It is not a scripted tour, so you see whatever is actually happening that day - bars or truffles in production, or packing and cleaning. Allow 30 to 60 minutes.
Watch a tempering and moulding demonstration, then add your own inclusions and take home a bar with your own label. Runs Monday to Saturday, 11am to 3.30pm, year-round; about 30 minutes including waiting time. €12, suitable for all ages.
A 60-minute session at 10am on selected Saturdays with limited places: work with the factory equipment, make two bespoke bars and taste as you go. €50, and not suitable for children under 8.
The on-site shop stocks the full handmade range - over 80 bars, boxes, spreads and hot chocolate swirl sticks, including vegan, sugar-free and dairy-free options.
For groups of 12 or more, a 40-minute by-arrangement visit of the open-plan production area with a guided chocolate tasting panel. €16 per person; larger groups book by phone or email.
Eight varieties of hot chocolate, plus coffee, tea and chocolate treats handmade in the factory. Bright, airy and roomy enough for families and groups, and handy for walkers and cyclists on the Lough Derg trails.
