Funtler is dedicated to keeping funtler.ie inclusive and usable for every visitor. We actively listen to accessibility feedback from the community and use it to shape future updates.

The site is built toward the WCAG 2.2 AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) success criteria, and we regularly reassess our approach so accessibility keeps pace with new features.

Compliance activity

Prior to going live, funtler.ie was audited against WCAG 2.2 AA. This review validated keyboard use, colour contrast, scalable text, and DOM structure to confirm alignment with the guidelines.

Automated accessibility scans run on staging before each monthly deployment. We only promote to production when the score exceeds 85 percent and no critical issues remain beyond the documented exceptions. After release, we rescan production and address any regressions quickly.

Non-compliance exemptions

Certain embedded third-party tools have accessibility constraints that we cannot fully control. They include:

  • Embedded Google Maps
  • Embedded YouTube videos
  • Embedded Vimeo videos
  • Hotjar surveys
