Ireland's biggest inflatable water park floats on Lough Derg at Twomilegate, near Killaloe — an 18-feature obstacle course of slides, domes and balance beams you play on for 50 minutes at a time.
Things to Do
Ride the big slides
Everest is the nerve-testing summit, Thor is the towering two-slide centrepiece, and Freefall Supreme is the hooded slide. Slide feet first, arms crossed, one at a time.
Climb and balance
The line-up includes a climbing wall standing well over 20ft high, the narrow I-Beam and Triad balance beams, the Monkey Dome and the Walk on Water run.
Get launched at the extremes
Catapult and Skyrocket fling participants into the lake, while Summit Express and the Cyclone Hamster Wheel add more thrills for confident swimmers.
Warm up in the coffee shop
West Lake Coffee Shop serves Anam coffee roasted in the Burren, plus sundaes, specialty hot chocolates and baked goods, with pet-friendly outdoor seating overlooking the water.
Safety briefing and lifeguards
Every session begins with a five-minute safety briefing, buoyancy aids are mandatory, and lifeguards patrol the course from stand-up paddleboards throughout.
Sign the waiver and plan your arrival
All participants need a waiver (parents sign for under-18s) and are asked to arrive 45 minutes before their session for check-in, changing and the briefing.
Plan Your Visit
- Hours: Seasonal: open weekends from 23 May and through June, then 7 days a week in July and August. Sessions are booked in hourly slots; the coffee shop is open daily 8.30am–6pm.
- Admission: Under 18s €25 pp, 18+ €27 pp for a 50-minute session; a second session in a row is half price.
- Parking: There is parking on site, including wheelchair-accessible spaces. The site advises allowing plenty of time as it fills up.
- Food: West Lake Coffee Shop on site, open daily 8.30am–6pm: Anam specialty coffee roasted in the Burren, sundaes, specialty hot chocolates and baked goods, with pet-friendly outdoor seating.
