The Book of Kells and Long Room
See the 1,200-year-old illuminated gospel book in the Treasury, then step into the Long Room, the grand oak-shelved library chamber now crowned by the Gaia globe. Entry is timed and includes a free multilingual audio guide.
Red Pavilion digital exhibitions
A minute's walk from the Old Library, three immersive shows — The Book of Kells 360, The Long Room Reimagined and the Secret Life of the Collections — bring the collections to life. The experience ends at the gift shop.
Trinity Trails guided walking tour
A 45-minute loop of the campus led by Trinity students and graduates, covering Front Square, the Campanile, the Dining Hall and famous alumni. Groups are capped at 25.
Wander the historic campus
Ireland's oldest university, founded in 1592, is easy to explore on foot. Look for Front Square, the Campanile, the Chapel and Exam Hall, the Museum Building and the Rubrics, Trinity's oldest surviving building.

- Hours: Book of Kells Experience: Mon–Thu 8:30am–6:30pm; Fri–Sat 8:30am–7:00pm; Sun 9:00am–6:30pm. Trinity Trails walking tours run daily.
- Admission: Book of Kells Experience from €26; Book of Kells & Old Library (no digital exhibition) from €19; Trinity Trails walking tour from €18; combined tour + experience from €39; self-guided app tour from €6.50.
- Parking: On-campus parking is permit-holders only, so visitors should use city-centre car parks instead. Ten disabled bays are provided (2 at the rear of the Rubrics, and others by the Berkeley Library podium, New Square and Nassau Street); blue-badge holders enter via Lincoln Gate and ask staff where to park.
- Food: On-campus choices include the Dining Hall (lunch, term time), the Buttery, the Perch Café, the Forum, Aras an Phiarsaigh and the fine-dining 1592 restaurant.
