Ireland's only seal rescue centre, where visitors meet and even feed the orphaned seal pups being nursed back to health for release into the wild.
A 15-minute talk on Ireland's seal species and the threats they face, followed by a guided walk past the fish kitchen, intensive care unit, kennels and rehabilitation pools, with the seals' rescue stories along the way. Suitable for all ages and the cheapest way in.
A one-hour, 13+ session (maximum six people) where you help the animal care team prepare feeds and enrichment, then feed the seals at the rehabilitation pools as they dive and compete for fish.
A three-hour, 13+ hands-on experience (maximum five people): an in-depth talk, a full behind-the-scenes hospital tour, then working alongside staff to feed seals and clean pools and kennels. Expect to get dirty; participants get a free sticker and a seal adoption.
The number of seals you see varies from as few as one or two up to around thirty, depending on the season and how many are well enough to be observed. Seals are wild animals here: no touching or direct contact, and photos are encouraged.

Group and school programmes include a Marine Conservation Discovery Tour at €7 per student and a 45-minute virtual tour at €4 per student; group visits are booked through the office.
