About

A modern pool, gym and Health Spa wrapped around 25 hectares of Victorian woodland, five minutes' walk from Courtown's Blue Flag beach. High ropes, zip wires, archery and laser tag run from the same base, and the woods themselves are free to walk.

Things to Do

Archery and laser tag

Test your aim on a purpose-built five-target archery range, or book an outdoor laser tag battle for groups. Both are instructor-led and suited to families, parties and team building; archery and laser tag are for ages 7 and over.

Courtown woodland trails

Four marked, easy loops run through 25 hectares of mature woodland planted as part of a Victorian estate: River Walk (red, 40 min), Canal Walk (green, 25 min), Top Walk (blue, 35 min) and High Cross (brown, 30 min). Woodland paths are mucky after rain and partly wheelchair/stroller friendly near the centre.

The Health Spa

A thermal journey with a recently refurbished, wheelchair-accessible sauna, a seated steam room for at least six adults, a spa pool/jacuzzi, ice bath and temperature-controlled showers. Adults only, and it closes occasionally for cleaning and during swim lessons.

Altitude high ropes and zip wires

Two high rope aerial trekking courses up to 20m in the air, with ropes bridges, cargo nets, spinning logs and a three-climb climbing wall, finishing on dual 150m zip wires. 90-minute session including harnessing and safety brief; minimum height 1.3m, maximum weight 120kg.

Swimming pool and waterslide

The centre has a 25m pool, separate kids' pools and a water slide, with public swim sessions bookable by the hour. Under-8s must be accompanied by an adult at all times; 8-11 year olds must be supervised.

Gym and fitness classes

A modern gym with weights area plus a studio running fitness, wellness and core classes for ages 16 and over. Guest rates cover a 1-hour gym session or a 45-minute class.

The Deck Café

The on-site café serves Badger & Dodo coffee, teas and pastries, plus healthy snacks and sandwiches — the obvious stop after a swim, workout or woodland walk.
