About
A working dairy farm turned family attraction outside Cork, where kids pet the animals, race pedal go-karts and watch a robot milk the cows. Note: the farm was put up for sale in December 2024, so check it is open before travelling.
Things to Do
Rumley's Robot milking
A must-see for all visits: watch the farm's voluntary robotic milking system at work and see a cow being milked on a real working dairy farm.
Pedal go-kart tracks
Two pedal go-kart tracks, one at either end of the farm, give children a race to remember.
Play areas and zip wire
An outdoor playground, a refurbished indoor play zone with sandpit, an on-site zip wire and an adventure play centre keep children busy whatever the weather.
Farm walks and views
Nearly 2km of walkways wind past ponds and animal enclosures, with panoramic views over Cork city and the surrounding countryside.
Tractor tours and school visits
Guided tractor tours run for families, schools and groups, alongside programmes explaining how food is produced on the working farm.
Farmhouse café and gift shop
The farmhouse café serves homemade food, cakes and coffee made fresh on site with local ingredients, with a shop to finish the visit; catering for groups and parties can be arranged.

- Hours: Seasonal: open 7 days a week, 11:00–18:00, through the summer season (1 May to early September in recent years). Confirm current hours before travelling.
- Admission: Roughly €8 per person with under-2s free, plus family day passes (€30 for 2 adults + 2 children, €35 for 2 adults + 3 children).
- Parking: Ample parking is available on-site.
- Food: Farmhouse café on site serving homemade food, desserts, soup, sandwiches and coffee made fresh with local ingredients; it also acts as a gift shop.
