Cork's home of greyhound racing, where Friday and Saturday nights pack in fast dogs, glass-fronted dining, bars and a lively family crowd just off the N40 near Bishopstown.
To avoid missing a race, ground-floor outlets serve gourmet beef burgers, fish and chips, sausage meals, loaded chips and Morelli ice cream. Bars run both upstairs and downstairs, with a carvery and Sky Sports on the screens.
Racing runs every Friday and Saturday, with gates opening at 6:30pm and the first race at about 7:35pm. Adult admission is €10, €5 for OAPs and students with valid ID, and free for children under 14.
The glass-fronted restaurant looks straight onto the racing, with two-, three- and four-course meal packages from €29.50 to €56.50 per person and a kids' package at €20. Drinks and Tote service are brought to your reserved table.
The Tote pools all stakes on a race and pays a dividend per €1 unit, with no tax on track bets. A Think 21 policy applies, so anyone who looks under 21 needs photo ID, and under-18s may not place a bet.
Groups of four or more can pre-book the online-exclusive Classic Combo at €16.50 with a drink and a €3 Tote voucher, or a Friday-only Sausage Sizzler at €12.50. Bigger parties can take a finger-food snug or a private glass-sided suite for 20 or more.
Cork's biggest racing event returns each September and October, building to a final on Saturday 17 October 2026 that is broadcast live on Virgin Media Television. It draws the country's leading greyhounds and a packed stand.
