A 14-acre family farm and zoo perched above Liscannor Bay, minutes from the Cliffs of Moher, where you hand-feed animals and then let the kids loose on go-karts, mini golf and play areas whatever the weather.
Animals graze in the outdoor paddocks through the summer season and are housed indoors for winter, so there is always something to see. Goats, sheep, alpacas, llamas, miniature horses and donkeys all come up for feeding - keep your hand flat and wash afterwards.
Alongside traditional Irish breeds the farm keeps ostrich, emu, raccoons, red deer and Kune Kune pigs, with Peewee the ostrich a firm favourite.
The course twists over natural bumps and hills with Liscannor stone hazards. Green fees are 2 euro per person once a farm ticket is bought, plus a 1 euro returnable deposit for club hire.
For wet days there is an under-5s soft play area, bouncing castle, ball pool, indoor sand area and pedal go-karts indoors and out. Socks are required for the soft play area.
A buggy- and wheelchair-accessible path winds past the fairy trail, animal paddocks and a tree house with swings, slide and see-saw.
A display of antique farm machinery, including an audio-visual look at rural farm life before the tractor, amuses adults and children alike.
Picnics are encouraged, with indoor and outdoor picnic areas looking out over Liscannor Bay to the sound of the animals.
