Watch Tom's highly trained border collies — Sweep, Lassie and Fly — gather the flock on voice commands across the hillside above Killary Fjord. Demonstrations run at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, seven days a week.

About
A traditional working mountain farm above Killary Fjord, where visitors watch border collies round up the flock and can bottle-feed orphan lambs. About 200 horned blackface ewes roam the hillside on the Wild Atlantic Way.
Things to Do
Bottle-feed orphan lambs
On the spring and summer tours you can hand-feed orphaned lambs their bottles. The lamb-feeding experience runs from 17 March to 15 August.
Hand sheep shearing
From 1 June to 15 August the flock is shorn with traditional hand shears rather than machine clippers — a rare sight kept up so the sheep don't get cold.
Turf cutting and the peat bog
See how turf is cut with a slean (turf spade) and learn how the mountain bog is worked, a traditional fuel source in a land with few trees.
Walk up for the fjord view
A short climb up the hill gives the big panorama across Killary Fjord between the mountains. Rainwear, outdoor footwear and walking sticks are lent out on arrival, so come whatever the weather.

- Hours: Demonstrations at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, seven days a week (or by appointment); arrive 15 minutes before the tour to check in. Open all year round, weather permitting.
- Admission: Individuals €12 each; family ticket €40 (2 adults + 2 children); groups of 10 or more €12 per person.
- Parking: Paid car park on site.
