Meet the sharks
The Shark Tank, the largest exhibit, holds over 440,000 litres and is home to sand tiger sharks Spike and Splash, rescued loggerhead turtle Molly, moray eels and colourful reef fish.
Penguin colonies
Two separate habitats: gentoo penguins in the Antarctic-themed Polar Penguins exhibit and Humboldt penguins along Penguin Coast, both native to the coasts of Chile and Peru.
Asian short-clawed otters
The smallest otter species, kept as a lively family group; the exhibits page promises entertaining antics and grooming sessions.
Deep Atlantic digital experience
Ireland's first marine immersive digital experience: a six-minute animation following a humpback whale off the Kerry coast, with bottlenose dolphins, leatherback turtles and jewel anemones.
Touch pool and hands-on tanks

- Hours: Open daily, 10am – 6pm, last entry at 4:45pm. Aquarium and gift shop share the same hours.
- Admission: Adults €21 online / €22 on the day; children (3-16) €15 online / €16 on the day; students and over-65s €16.50 online / €17.50 on the day; toddlers free.
- Parking: Paid car park on site, plus free and paid street parking nearby.
- Food: The on-site Café and Gift Shop are open to everyone, with hours matching those of the aquarium; you can leave the exhibits to visit them and return.
