Dublin's only urban working farm — 38 acres of organic gardens, Jersey cows, heritage tours and farm-to-table dining, just 15 minutes from the city centre.
A working farm with a milking Jersey herd, Jacob sheep, Oxford Sandy & Black pigs, Saanen goats, Rhode Island Red hens, and resident donkeys Conal and Carroll. Daily activities include egg collection (10am), Jersey herd milking with milk tasting on weekends (10:30am), and a farm talk (3pm). All included with admission.
Six acres of diverse garden spaces: an ornamental walled garden with herbaceous borders, a two-acre certified organic food garden supplying the kitchen, a restored Victorian glasshouse, the hot-coloured Potting Shed Border, and the Sunken Garden blending ornamental and edible planting.
The Overend family home since 1894, now an interactive heritage exhibition. See the sisters' 1927 Rolls Royce (with tow bar for transporting cows), vintage cars, original clothing, family letters, and travel trunks. Free guided tours daily at 12pm and 2pm, or use the free audio guide.
An interactive, hands-on exhibit exploring the layers of soil and the ecosystems beneath our feet. Children can get stuck into messy activities — old clothes or an apron recommended. Entry included with all tickets.
Farm-to-table dining where menus change with the weekly harvest. Breakfast, brunch, and lunch use estate-grown produce alongside trusted Irish suppliers. Enjoy McCabe's coffee, freshly baked breads and pastries. Walk-in only for small groups.
Free-entry market every Friday and Saturday, 9am–2:30pm. Stalls include seasonal fruit and veg, Kilmullen Farm lamb, artisan breads and pastries, Kilmore Seafresh fish (Fridays), preserves, wool products, and flowers grown on the estate.
Craft-R-noon sessions run Saturdays and Sundays (10am–4pm) beside the Stables Café. Storytime at 1:30pm in Airfield House. The estate also has a zipline and plenty of open space. Seasonal kids' camps run during school breaks.
