A family-run boat company (est. 1995) that takes small groups from Teelin Pier out beneath Sliabh Liag, the highest accessible sea cliffs in Europe at 600 m. Seeing them from the water is the only way to grasp their true scale.
Things to Do
Mammal Watching
Bottlenose and common dolphins, minke, humpback, fin and occasionally orca whales, plus tuna, basking sharks, seals and seabirds. Mammal-watching trips are private bookings only unless otherwise stated.
Swimming Trips
Swim in crystal-clear Atlantic water beneath the cliffs or in secluded coves on the way, so pack a swimsuit and towel. A limited number of towels and wetsuits are available on board.
Evening Angling Trips
The 18:00 sailing can be booked as a fishing trip at €35 per person, with rods and tackle included. Minimum 4 and maximum 10 per booking, and smaller groups may share the boat.
Private Trips
Charter a whole boat (up to 12 people) for a tailored sightseeing, swimming, mammal-watching or fishing trip. Book by selecting 12 adult places on the booking form.
Sliabh Liag Sauna
A wood-fired sauna with cold plunge sits right at Teelin Pier, the perfect follow-up to a dip. Sessions start from €15 and are booked separately online.
Plan Your Visit
- Hours: Daily from April to October, subject to weather conditions. Boats depart Teelin Pier every two hours: 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00. Booking online is recommended, especially in summer.
- Admission: Adults €28, ages 13-17 €16, ages 5-13 €10; private boat charter €336
- Parking: Free parking at Teelin Pier with plenty of room; park responsibly and do not block the slipway or other pier users. Wheelchair-accessible parking is available.
- Food: There is no food outlet at the pier itself; the nearest dining is in Carrick village, about 5 minutes' drive away, where The Rusty Mackerel pub serves hearty fare such as soup and chowder.
