About

A family-run pottery in an old stone mill beside the River Nore, where every piece is made by hand through a 20-step process you can watch through viewing windows.

Things to Do

Watch the potters at work

Large glass viewing windows look into the working pottery, so when the team is making you can watch throwing, hand-painting and sponge-decorating as each piece goes through its 20-step process. Catch the makers at work on weekday visits.

See the riverside mill setting

The renovated flour mill sits on the River Nore in Bennettsbridge, a pretty village a short drive south of Kilkenny City. The river also powers the pottery's hydro electricity.
