A night at the dogs in Waterford: Saturday greyhound racing with restaurant dining, tote betting and family packages, minutes from the city centre on the Old Tramore Road.
Racing runs every Saturday night: gates open 7.00pm and the first race goes off about 7.35pm. General admission gets you the ground-floor sports bar, café and food hall plus indoor and outdoor viewing, so you can watch from the front of the grandstand or a big screen.
Pre-book a table in the upstairs restaurant for dinner with the best view of the track: €29.50 for a main course, €39.50 for two courses or €46.50 for three, all including admission, with drinks and tote service to your table. Kids' restaurant package is €20 for under-14s.
Under-14s get in free with adults on general admission, and the summer family package (€45 for two adults and two children, June-August) includes admission plus burgers and nugget meals. Children under 18 are welcome with an adult but cannot bet. Group, hen and stag packages are bookable online.
Pay on the night and grab jumbo sausage and chips, burgers or nuggets from the fast-food counter while watching the racing on big screens with direct access to the outdoor stand. The Class Combo (€16.50, groups of 4+) adds a drink and a €3 tote voucher.
