A large leisure club at Waterford Regional Sports Centre combining a 25m pool, thermal spa, 120-piece gym, 100+ weekly fitness classes, and direct access to Waterford Nature Park.
The 25m heated six-lane pool is the centrepiece, complemented by a separate children's pool. After your swim, head to the sauna, steam room and hydrotherapy pool for heat therapy. Lane swimming, family swims and aqua aerobics all feature on the timetable. Note: pool access may be limited during kids' swimming lesson times.
Over 120 pieces of equipment from Life Fitness and Technogym, including pin- and plate-loaded strength machines, a large free-weights area, dumbbells, kettlebells, and a dedicated glute and leg training section. Cardio options include treadmills, cross-trainers, stepmills, Watt Bikes, assault bikes, ski ergs and IC8 high-performance cycles.
With 100+ classes a week across two studios, there's a class for every level. Les Mills staples include BodyPump, BodyCombat, BodyBalance, RPM, Sprint, Sh'Bam and the intense Grit series. Also on offer: Aqua Fit in the pool, Bootcamp, Circuit Training, HIIT, Step Aerobics and Abs & Glutes. Classes are bookable via the Kingfisher app.
A dedicated spa offering Payot facials, Jane Iredale mineral make-up, massages, body scrubs, hydrotherapy baths, manicures, pedicures, shellac and gelish nails, waxing, tinting and Lusso Tan. The spa also has its own hydrotherapy bath, mud chamber and experience showers. Open Wed 10am–6pm, Thu–Fri 9:30am–8pm, Sat 9:30am–5:30pm (closed Sun–Tue).
Book a badminton court or hire the outdoor AstroTurf pitches for 5-a-side football or tennis. There's also a full-size 30m wooden-floored sports hall suitable for indoor sports. Courts and pitches are booked via the members' portal.
The entrance to Waterford Nature Park is right at the Kingfisher Club. A 2km main looped walkway — a mix of tarmac paths and mown meadow trails — is fenced and dog-friendly, with a hill in the middle for those wanting to mix up their run. Free to use.
