About

Waterford's biggest indoor family activity centre, with over 25,000 square feet of fun and nine activities under one roof — rain or shine. Opened in December 2015 on the Williamstown Road in Ardkeen.

Things to Do

Physical gaming zone

SisyFox, iWall and MultiBall platforms turn your body into the controller. Activate says it is the only venue in Europe with these three under one roof. 30-minute sessions, pre-booking essential.

Interactive bowling

Six lanes of the latest interactive bowling, each with a touch-screen console for games, lane-versus-lane challenges and photos. Ball ramps, light balls and side barriers suit bowlers from about age 3. One lane, one hour, pre-booking essential.

Soft play

A tiny tot area, toddler area and a huge triple-level play frame for ages 4+ (children must be under 145cm). Frames are inspected daily and ROSPA-approved; admission gives a strictly enforced 1 hour 30 minute play period.

Climbing wall

Have-a-go sessions give 8+ beginners about 20 minutes on the wall with harnesses, ropes and an instructor. Private one-hour induction sessions (2-6 people) include membership so you can climb unsupervised later.

Laser Wars

Ages 7+ dodge lasers in close-quarters combat, choosing from more than 18 games including Colour Conquest, Zombies and Vampires, plus solo and team modes. Pre-booking essential.

VIP karaoke rooms

Soundproofed private rooms take 4 to 15 people, with a 13,000+ song catalogue, themed playlists, photo booth and rooms available for hire. Party bookings run seven days a week between 12-8pm, or Monday to Thursday 3-7pm for groups of 15 or more.

Parties and venue hire

Bowling, climbing, soft play, laser and karaoke party packages are available, alongside full venue hire and reserved café tables. Booking is by phone or enquiry form.
