Carlingford Adventure Centre runs 30+ outdoor activities across land, sea and sky in the medieval village of Carlingford, anchored by Skypark – home of Ireland's longest aerial adventure course and its only wheelchair-accessible zipline.
Ireland's longest aerial course: 30+ obstacles, 7 zip wires, a 40ft climbing frame and a 460ft zipline, graded blue to black with hop-on/hop-off exits. Ages 9+ and over 1.2m; about 1 hour plus a 15-minute safety briefing. Book online to save €5.
Skypark operates Ireland's only accessible zipline for wheelchair users, plus the Zipfinity ziplines. Courses run 6–40ft high with views over the Cooley Peninsula.
One All-Access Pass covers 11 activities: maze, mini golf, footgolf, frisbee golf, aeroball, Skynet giant nets, spider mountain, inflatable slide and the Skypark Express train. Juniors (4–8) get their own low-level course; under-3s are free.
Paddle the lough by kayak, Canadian canoe, canoe raft or stand-up paddleboard, or race self-built rafts and bounce on the water trampoline. Water sessions are tide-dependent.
Nine acres of forest host laser combat arenas, rock climbing and abseiling, orienteering, archery and axe/spear target sports, while Gaisce hillwalking explores the Cooley Mountains.
Schools, youth groups, sports teams and hen/stag parties book half-day, full-day and residential packages; summer camps run at Easter, summer and Halloween. Overnight guests stay in 300+ hostel beds or self-catering holiday homes on the main street.
