See the Kindred Spirits sculpture
Nine 6.1 m (20 ft) stainless-steel eagle feathers, no two alike, stand in a circle shaped like a bowl of food. Created by Alex Pentek and installed in 2015, it commemorates the $170 the Choctaw Nation sent to starving Irish during the Great Famine, despite their own Trail of Tears hardships. It was dedicated in June 2017 by Choctaw Chief Gary Batton and is visible from the Cork–Waterford N25 road.
