A family-run alpaca farm on the Knockamany Bens where you lead your own alpaca along a clifftop trail above Five Finger Strand, at Ireland's most northerly point.
The signature trek pairs each visitor with their own alpaca for roughly 45 minutes of walking on the private trail over the Knockamany Bens, plus 15 minutes of photo stops and hand-feeding. €20 per person, about one hour in total.
A child-focused version of the same route, with two alpacas shared across the family. €45 covers two adults and two children; children are welcome and the animals are well used to them.
For anyone who cannot manage the uneven ground, a meet-and-greet option with the alpacas is also offered — ask about it when you book.
The trail looks out over Five Finger Strand towards Glashedy Rock and the Isle of Doagh. Guides are the owning family, who explain the herd's behaviour and the landscape as you walk.
Groups of eight or more can be arranged, and corporate team-building days are quoted on request. There is onsite parking for a 30-seater coach at the entrance.
