Things to Do
Artists' Attic Craft Room
Opened in 2017, this craft room sells handmade work direct from six local makers. It operates from June to the end of August each summer.
Wander the lavender fields
Four acres are planted across two fields, originally with roughly 6,500 plants of Grosso, Munstead, Hidcote and pink Rosea. The top field was replanted in 2023 and the sloping second field is replaced gradually each year, so how full it looks depends on the season.
Children's wooden maze and outdoor games
The 24m x 18m wooden maze, opened in 2021, is designed for children — under-fives should be accompanied. Buy your entry token in the shop. There is also a playground, a quad barrel train ride, and a snakes and ladders board with balancing beams in the lower field.
Woodland walks
Short walks run through the farm's woodland. This is a working farm with sugar beet, barley and grazing stock, so stay inside marked areas, supervise children and take care crossing open ground.
Buy lavender plants
In summer the farm sells two-litre pots of Hidcote, Munstead and its own Grosso, ready to plant out. Staff advise on drainage and on cutting plants back after flowering; no wholesale or orders over 30 plants.
Gift shop and online shop
The gift shop carries the farm's own small-batch products — dried Hidcote bunches, culinary lavender and essential oil among them — made on site from organic, Organic Trust certified lavender. Orders ship within Ireland, free over €60.

- Hours: Opens Saturday 2 May 2026, 10.30–5.00 (open Bank Holiday Monday). May: weekends only. June, July and August: Tuesday–Sunday, 10.30–5.00 (open June and August bank holidays). September to Easter: closed for winter.
- Admission: Entry is charged through parking: €6 per car in May (low season), €9 per car in June, July and August (high season) — per car, not per person.
- Parking: On-site paid car park; entry to the attraction is charged via parking — €6 per car in May and €9 per car in June–August. Towing caravans and large campervans cannot be accommodated because of the narrow laneway and small barriers.
- Food: The Purple Haze Café serves homemade breakfast, lunch, cakes and coffee and seats up to 65 people, with courtyard seating and dogs welcome.
