A world-class collection of 2,500 objects spanning 5,000 years, housed in Limerick's elegant 18th-century Palladian Custom House on the banks of the River Shannon.
The Hunt Collection features works by Picasso, Renoir, Gauguin, and Jack B. Yeats alongside archaeological treasures from the Neolithic to the present day. Don't miss the Sybil Connolly fashion collection, the Treasury, and the Medieval World gallery. The average visit takes 45 minutes to an hour.
Oversized 3D-printed replicas of museum objects — including Olmec Man, the Etruscan Jug, and the Dodecahedron — are dotted through a riverside garden with sensory planting, seating alcoves, and views of the Shannon. Free to enter; gates locked from 6pm–8am.
Serving breakfast, lunch, and coffee with views over the River Shannon and Curraghgower Falls. In fine weather, enjoy outdoor seating overlooking St Mary's Cathedral. Open Tuesday–Saturday 10am–4pm, closed Sunday and Monday.
