Ireland's only interactive sculpture garden — a playful, thought-provoking 1 km trail of art, poetry, games, and nature threaded along a waterfall in the hills above Glengarriff.
Over 200 installations — from a giant snail to a welded-steel kinetic child — populate four themed gardens. All are designed and created on-site by artist Sheena Wood over 30 years. Highlights include 'The Hug', 'Salmon of Knowledge', and the mischievous 'Snail Trail'.
In the Valley of Eden, 100 steps take you through the natural history of the planet — from bacteria and dinosaurs to humans. Meet 'Uncle Australopithecus', peer into the 'Homo Tyranicus' vault, and use the human sundial.
Scattered along the trail are hands-on games — solitaire, chess, four-in-a-row, a stone-stacking challenge (record: 34 stones), and unique Ewe-invented games. Kids forget their phones; adults rediscover their inner child.
All sculptures here are made from recycled materials. The 'Milk of Human Blindness', a recycled-exhaust 'Exhaust Ed', and 'The Call of Nature' — a low-tech listening experience — challenge how you think about waste and nature.

In the Timeless Glen, 'Passing Time' is a 100-step fern labyrinth where you can linger as long as you like. Nearby, find the 'Continuity' horn-conch and the 'Stone Throne'.
