A sheltered, south-south-east facing sandy strand of about 300 m tucked below low cliffs at the end of a narrow lane near Nohoval. It holds a Green Coast Award and is a long-standing local favourite for swimming, sandcastles and rockpooling.

Beachcomb the rocks, caves and inlets
The name is no coincidence — the shore is lined with stones, coral and rock, with small caves and inlets to poke around at low tide. Stay aware of the incoming tide, which can cut off the easy routes back.
Swim and sunbathe in the bay
A clean Green Coast Award beach that locals use for swimming and sunbathing, with a sheltered, south-south-east facing aspect. Waves can break hard at high tide, and there are no lifeguards at any time of year, so keep an eye on children.
Walk the clifftop and coast path
The beach sits below low cliffs and is a local spot for coastal walks, with Roberts Cove about 1.8 km away and Nohoval Cove a few kilometres further on.

- Admission: Free to visit — no admission charge
- Parking: Very limited. A small parking area sits above the beach; on warm summer days it fills quickly and the narrow approach road becomes congested.
- Food: None on site — no café, kiosk, shop or vending. Bring your own food and water; the nearest shops and cafés are in Minane Bridge or Carrigaline.
