Rebuilt in 2026 after a €300,000 community fundraising drive, this free playground in Carrigaline Regional Park pairs a shiny new "Pringle Park" adventure zone with a skate park, games area and duck pond beside the Owenabue.

The upgraded playground
Reopened on 17 July 2026 after a €300,000 refurbishment, the fenced playground has a jungle gym, zipline, climbing frames, seesaws and slides, with zones for different ages and a single gated entrance that makes watching children easy.
Skate park and games area
The wider park holds a skate park, a multi-use games area/basketball court and outdoor exercise equipment, giving teenagers and adults their own space away from the small-child equipment.
Duck pond and riverside paths
A duck pond sits within the park and walking paths follow the river beside the playground — feeding the ducks is a favourite with younger children.
Picnic and coffee stop
Picnic tables, benches and outdoor seating are spread around, and in summer a coffee dock and sometimes an ice-cream van set up on site.

- Hours: The playground is free and listed as open 24 hours. The surrounding park opens at 8.30am Monday to Friday and 10am on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays, with seasonal closing times (see below). Daylight visits are recommended.
- Admission: Free entry — no admission charge
- Parking: Parking available nearby; access is from Church Road within Carrigaline Regional Park, beside Carrigaline Community Centre/Complex.
- Food: No food sold on site. A coffee dock sometimes operates and an ice-cream van visits in summer; Carrigaline town centre with its cafés is a short walk away.
