Mullingar Park, also known as Mullingar Town Park, is the town's Green Flag public park on Pearse Street, combining a swan pond, children's playgrounds, a skate park and riverside walks in the heart of Mullingar.
A 5.6-acre town-centre park with well-kept paths and lawns, perfect for a short walk or run. The River Brosna flows along the western side, and the park has held a Green Flag award since 2016.

A large pond sits near the centre of the park where the Brosna once flowed. It is home to a family of swans and ducks that visitors regularly stop to feed and photograph.
The park has several playground areas with a zip line, slides and a revamped baby play area, set on clean, open lawns that suit picnics while children play.
A dedicated skateboard park sits within the grounds, its walls decorated with colourful Warhol-inspired murals painted by local artists.
Hand-carved wooden sculptures are dotted around the park, a favourite detail for reviewers alongside the general scenery.
Mullingar Swimming Pool is located within the park complex. It is a separate, charged facility from the free park itself.
