Monkey Maze bills itself as Europe's largest indoor activity centre, a giant four-level play maze in Glanmire, Cork, built for under-10s and their grown-ups.
Things to Do
Ball pools and shooting cannons
Ball pools and ball-cannon areas let kids fire foam balls around a dedicated zone. Balls must not be thrown at other children.
Football and basketball courts
Two indoor sports courts inside the centre are a hit with football-mad children, along with ropes bridges to cross.
Relax in the Monkey Maze cafe
Grown-ups can sit with a cappuccino and freshly baked scones while the children play, with quieter seating areas around the centre and electronic tags on every child.
Drop down the slides
Multiple slides are built into the maze structure. Rules are strict: feet first, arms crossed, no climbing back up, and socks must be worn at all times.
Toddler and baby area
A separate soft-play area for the under-fours and a mother-and-baby area keep mini monkeys safe away from the big maze. Under-4s are not allowed into the large maze.
Book a birthday party
Parties run for 2 hours in a dedicated party area, include invitations, drinks and a party bag, and hot-food parties cost €24 per child with a minimum of 10 children.
Plan Your Visit
- Hours: Open Friday to Monday inclusive. Booking is not required for play and sessions are strictly 2 hours. The venue does not publish specific daily times on its own site.
- Admission: €12 per child for a 2-hour play session (Friday to Monday)
- Parking: On-site surface car park at the Glanmire Business Park address, listed by operator APCOA with 70 spaces and a tariff of €3.40 per hour or €16 per day. Older listings describe the car park as free, so check on arrival.
- Food: The Monkey Maze café serves cappuccino, tea, freshly ground coffee, scones, muffins, yoghurts and fruit, plus hot food such as chips, chicken goujons, sausages and pizza, with juice jugs, slushies and bottled water. Only food bought at Monkey Maze may be eaten on the premises.
