Explore the full timeline of Irish settlement, from the Middle Stone Age campsite and Megalithic Tomb to the Crannog lake dwelling, Viking boatyard and Norman Castle. Colour-coded trails guide you through Prehistoric Ireland, Early Christian Ireland and the Age of Invasion.

Join a Guided Tour

Costumed guides lead three free tours daily: Pre-Historic Ireland (30 min), Early Christian Ireland (30 min), and Age of Invasion (40-45 min). You can join one or stay for all three. Tours run at set times from March to August.

Birds of Prey Experience

Master Falconer Jim O'Connor introduces you to owls, hawks and falcons at the Falconry Centre. This 60-minute hands-on session costs 55 euro per person (2 to 8 participants) and must be booked at least a week in advance.

Daily Life in the 10th Century

Don a Viking tunic and immerse yourself in Viking Wexford for an hour. Learn traditions and customs inside the Royal House of the Crannog, strike a Viking coin to take home, and prepare for battle. 55 euro per person, 2 to 8 participants.

Plan Your Visit

  • Hours: Open year-round, 9:30am. Jan-Feb and Nov-Dec: close 5:00pm (last entry 3pm). Mar-Oct: close 5:30pm (last entry 4pm).
  • Admission: Adult 18 euro, Child (4-17) 9 euro, Senior/Student 14 euro, Under-4s free. Family tickets: 40 euro (2+1 child) or 48 euro (2+2/3 children).
  • Parking: Free car and coach parking on site. Coach and minibus groups are asked to notify the park in advance.
  • Food: The on-site restaurant and cafe opens daily: weekdays from 10am, weekends from 9:30am. Serves breakfast, lunch, and home-baked cakes. Picnic tables provided at the front of the building (Leave No Trace policy: take rubbish home).
