Crack the two mazes
The Celtic Maze is a beech hedge maze replanted in 2022, twisting its way to a centre pond. The Solstice Maze is a gentler contemplative path inside a large stone circle, with the centre stones representing the four seasons.

About
A family farm day out in the Wicklow hills, built around two hedge mazes, three old farm museums and a rewilded nature reserve. A hidden gem worth finding, just 15 minutes from Glendalough.
Things to Do
Step back in time in the farm museums
Over 40 years of collecting fills a two-floor Barn Museum of tools, ploughs and Famine-era prints, a quirky 1985 Bottle Museum, and a 16th-century farmhouse that was once a safehouse for 1798 rebels.
Meet the farm animals
Ernie the donkey, retired horses Annie and Jessie James, plus cows, pigs, sheep, turkeys and geese. Baby animals appear at different times of year, and there is a Hen Hotel with some very fancy hens.
Walk the wild nature reserve
Follow the Ballinanty Brook through rewilded areas, then take the Dragonfly Walk, a raised wooden boardwalk through native woodland and wetland with viewing platforms over the ponds.
Fairy Tree Trail
A gentle trail for children and families that teaches native trees as you go, with fairy doors and little houses hidden along the way.
Playground
Safe climbing, jumping and twirling equipment for toddlers and older children alike, set in the Wicklow countryside and a firm favourite with younger visitors.
Treasure hunt
Pick up a self-guided treasure hunt map and follow the clues around the farm. Solve the riddles and there is real treasure at the end; the clues also teach the All Ireland Pollinator Plan.
Coffee shop and craft shop
Organic coffee, hot chocolate, cakes and (at lunchtime) toasties and paninis, with covered picnic tables outside. The craft shop sells Irish knitwear, pottery, stained glass, soaps and seasonal jam.

- Hours: 10.00am–6.00pm, last admission 5pm. Open for the full Easter school holidays and Easter weekend, and on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holiday Mondays in April, May and June; seven days a week in July and August. Closed from September for the winter.
- Admission: Adults €9, children €9; family tickets €34
- Parking: Free car park on site, with reserved parking spaces for disability badge holders. Just 10 minutes from Rathdrum, 15 from Glendalough, via Exit 16 on the N11 and the R752; Eircode A67 D789.
- Food: On-site coffee shop open 11:00am–5:00pm for coffees, cookies, soft drinks and snacks, with hot food such as toasties and paninis served 12:00pm–4:00pm. Picnics are welcome at the covered tables; barbecues are not allowed.
