About

Dundalk's arts hub, housed in the former Town Hall on Crowe Street, packs a 350-seat theatre, a studio stage, a free gallery and artist studios under one roof. Expect anything from national theatre tours and comedy to contemporary exhibitions, film festivals and workshops.

Things to Do

See a show in the main theatre

The 350-seat main auditorium (with balcony) hosts theatre, comedy, music, tribute shows and National Theatre Live screenings; the 55-seat studio theatre is the intimate stage for smaller works. Book online, by phone or at the box office; tickets are emailed as paperless QR codes.

Visit the free gallery

The basement gallery runs rotating contemporary exhibitions — recent shows include Daydreamers by Olive Eustace — open Tuesday to Saturday 10am-4pm, free and with no booking required. Lift access serves the gallery and both workshop spaces.

Film, festivals and Culture Night

The programme spans film screenings, the Louth International Film Festival (late September) and a packed Culture Night each September. The festive season brings pantomime and Christmas shows such as A Christmas Carol.

Workshops and artist residencies

The centre supports emerging artists and theatre companies through residencies and creative workshops, and is home to Bó Studios, a new artist studio in the heart of Dundalk. Check What's On for current workshop programmes.
