Turoe is home to pigs, cockerels, ponies, rabbits, donkeys, goats, ducks, llamas, cows and sheep — plus "Dundee" the crocodile. Buy a bag of animal food and feed most of them around the farm.

A family-run pet farm and leisure park near Loughrea since 1993, pairing a 14-acre traditional farm with huge indoor play areas so a rainy Galway day still works.
Things to Do
Astro turf pitch
A dedicated all-weather astro turf pitch. A limited number of footballs can be borrowed from admissions, and families may bring their own.
Inflatable City
An 8,000 square foot indoor bouncy castle with three slides — a 6ft, a 12ft and a brave 25ft — plus a free toddler section.
Jungle Town indoor play frame
A two-storey activity centre with a large slide, tunnel, ball ponds, zip line and bish-bash, with a free baby section. Suitable for children aged 2 to 12; socks are mandatory and no hats, jewellery, food or drink are allowed inside.
Outdoor play and the covered Pavilion
Ireland's first covered outdoor playground, plus two more playgrounds, a covered sand box and a grass soccer pitch for burning off energy in any weather.
The 14-acre nature walk
Stroll the all-weather path around the farm, including the tranquil hawthorn walk. The route is buggy and wheelchair friendly.
Plan Your Visit
- Hours: Open year round on selected dates, usually weekends (Saturday and Sunday) 10:00am to 6:00pm. Daily 10am–6pm through July and August and for the first two weeks of April; extra weekday afternoon openings (2–5pm) in early June. Closed St Patrick's Day and from 23 December.
- Admission: Online: adults €9.50, children €14.00 (under 2 free). Gate price: adults €10.00, children €15.00.
- Parking: Car parking on site; Google lists a free car park plus paid parking and free street parking nearby.
- Food: The Country Kitchen serves sandwiches, burgers, chips, sausages and chicken nuggets in a heated sit-in area with TV screens. The Coffee Dock serves tea, coffee, desserts, 99 cones, chocolate, crisps and minerals, and sells souvenirs. Picnics are welcome, but no hot food or hot drinks may be brought on site.
