The Treehouse is Skibbereen's indoor soft play centre and award-winning café — a warm, all-weather spot where children play while grown-ups relax over coffee and cake.
Things to Do
Bigger kids' play area
A separate section for older children with slides and climbing structures. Free play is encouraged and the centre is deliberately compact, so you can see both zones from most seats.
The café
An award-winning on-site café serving a fresh, seasonal menu, homemade bakes and local Red Strand coffee — designed so parents can chat while keeping an eye on the play areas.
Classes and sensory play
The venue hosts weekly classes, including The Play Den sensory and messy play for ages 6 months to 4 years (4-week blocks, €55 per child, €30 for siblings), plus baby massage, baby sensory and movement-to-music sessions.
Parties and private hire
The Treehouse is a popular spot for birthday parties, preschool and school tours and private family or club gatherings, with packages and add-ons. Parties must be booked in advance.
