An outdoor adventure centre in the Kildare countryside, 5km from Kildare town and handy off the M7, with combat games, archery, axe throwing and a giant summer water slide. Most activities run year-round for pre-booked groups, with open sessions at weekends.
A giant inflatable water slide, described as the longest slip 'n' slide in the country, with spray arches and a base pool. Sessions are 50 minutes of unlimited sliding and run June to mid September. Bring a swimsuit, towel and a change of clothes, and arrive 15 minutes early.
Two-hour objective-based battles using realistic replica equipment, with protective mask, team armband and instruction supplied. Open to ages 12+ and adults, with open sessions most weekends and private group sessions all year. Book ahead; certain sessions do not permit your own gear.
Lower-impact paintball for ages 7 to 12 using lightweight paint and low-powered markers — messy fun with none of the sting. Sessions last 1.5 hours; groups of 6+ for parties, or join an open weekend session as an individual.
A lower-powered version of airsoft for ages 10 to 14, with simple objective games such as capturing bunkers or hoisting a flag. Runs for 1.5 hours on Saturdays as an open session, or bookable privately for groups of 6+. Arms and legs must be covered; own equipment is not allowed.
Supervised archery (from age 16) and axe throwing (18+) on separate ranges, each around an hour with coaching, safety briefing and all equipment provided. Both suit groups of 4+ and pair well together for a half-day out.
Dodgeball with low-poundage bows and foam-tipped arrows, played around inflatable bunkers. Around 1-1.25 hours, suitable from age 8 with groups of 8+, and fully marshalled.
A pick-and-mix family session built around the Skill Zone and Big Red, suited to all ages and fitness levels. Runs July and August, from 1 to 2.5 hours, minimum group of 3, with all equipment supplied; food is not included.
