A family-run open farm on the Wicklow coast where kids get hands-on with animals, explore Ireland's only maize maze, and step onto the original set of RTE's beloved Glenroe series — all less than an hour from Dublin.

Things to Do

Meet the Farm Animals

Get up close with horses, donkeys, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, sika deer and alpacas. In Pets' Corner, children can handle rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils and chinchillas under staff supervision. The farm fowl area features ducks, chickens, geese, turkeys, peafowl and aviary birds.

Follow a peaceful walking trail from the farm towards the Wicklow coastline, through woodland, marshlands and grassland. Along the way, discover the sensory garden and the whimsical fairy garden.

Maize Maze — Pig Out!

Ireland's first maize maze opens seasonally from late July to the end of October. The mission: find 10 escaped pigs hidden among the corn rows.

Dinny's Cottage

Visit the 400-year-old thatched cottage made famous as Dinny Byrne's home in RTE's Glenroe, which filmed here from 1983 to 2001. The farm has also served as a location for Moone Boy and other productions.

  • Hours: March–May: Sat & Sun 10am–5pm. June: Mon–Fri 12 noon–5pm, Sat & Sun 10am–6pm. July–August: Mon–Fri 10am–5pm, Sat & Sun 10am–6pm. September–October: Sat & Sun 10am–5pm. Last admission 1 hour before closing. Closed November–February.
  • Admission: Adults €9, children (3–16) €9, under-3s free
  • Parking: Free on-site parking available.
  • Food: On-site coffee shop serving home-baked goods and refreshments. Visitors can also bring their own food and use the indoor picnic room.
