Feeding times
Raccoons, wolves, lynx, bears, wild boar, arctic fox and red fox are all fed publicly, on a schedule that changes daily and is announced on arrival.
Meet Ireland's lost wildlife
Walk under the tree canopy of the Celtic rainforest to see rescued brown bears, wolves, lynx and wild boar, animals hunted to extinction in Ireland. Raccoons, arctic and red foxes, deer, wallabies and owls are here too.
Follow the forest trails
Flat, accessible paths wind through the woodland past the enclosures; allow about two hours to see everything, longer if you linger. Step through the thatched stone entrance to start.
Restaurant and picnic area
The on-site restaurant serves hot food, drinks, snacks, sandwiches and sweet treats, with covered picnic seating that is open to the weather, so dress accordingly.
