About
One of Ireland's newest purpose-built indoor playgrounds, The Playcentre Kingscourt has play zones for every age from babies to 11-year-olds, themed party rooms and a café where parents can watch the action.
Things to Do
Toddler area
Catches ages 1-3 with a moving carousel, a flashing slide, three separate slide areas and plenty of ride-on cars and little tyke vehicles.
Baby area
Free for under-12s to use and designed for babies under 12 months, with a flashing sensory waterbed to encourage tummy time and a separate ball pool.
Football area
A covered, walled-in mini stadium separate from the main hall — a big hit with older kids and football fanatics who can practice their shooting.
Birthday parties
Two-hour parties give children 75 minutes of play plus 45 minutes in themed rooms: princess, football, disco and pamper parties, with gift bags and extras.
Café and coffee area
While the kids play, adults can relax over Italian coffees, herbal teas and fresh pastries, or a hot menu with kids' and adults' meals. The café also caters for playgroups, sports clubs, communions and confirmations.
