A 14-acre family wildlife park in the Wexford countryside, home to more than 200 rescued animals across 40-plus species, with hands-on encounters, keeper talks and all-weather play. Founded in 2007, it is the only fully licensed zoo in the South East.
Get hands-on with friendly small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs, guided by keepers, then hand-feed the llamas, alpacas and goats. Hand-feeding is included with your ticket, so there is no extra charge for the up-close moments.
Keepers share the rescue stories behind the park's animals through talks held through the day. Children can also follow scavenger-style adventure hunts around the grounds to uncover animal facts.
Pre-book a Capybara Experience with Guava and Mango, a Meerkat and Porcupine session, a Junior or Senior Keeper day, or a Behind-the-Scenes VIP guided tour. Admission is included with all paid experiences and every experience must be booked online in advance.
In spring and summer visitors can help bottle-feed the playful baby goats, a gentle highlight aimed squarely at younger children.
Hop aboard the quad train for a tour of the park, or let the little ones loose in the tractor pedal park. The quad train is an optional €2 per person extra; everything else included in the day is free.
An all-weather indoor bouncy castle and obstacle course sit alongside a large outdoor playground, so a rainy day out still works. The park is largely outdoors, so bring sturdy shoes.
The on-site café serves breakfasts, hot lunches, sweet treats and McCabe's barista coffee, with hot food served until 4pm. There is also a sweet shop and ice cream, plus picnic benches if you bring your own food.
