About
A Salthill seafront landmark since 1973, Leisureland packs three swimming pools, a 65m water slide, a giant inflatable obstacle course, a gym and an outdoor adventure-golf course into one site on the Wild Atlantic Way.
Things to Do
Swim in three pools
Choose a six-lane 25m deck-level pool, a learner pool or the warmer leisure pool. The main pools run at 28-29°C and the leisure pool at 30-31°C, and swimming hats are compulsory.
Ride the 65m water slide and Commando Run
The 65m slide and the giant Commando Run inflatable obstacle course are the headline thrills. Both need a minimum height of 1.1m, armbands are allowed, and the slide only runs at weekends (Sat 2:15-5pm, Sun 11am-5pm).
Play a round of adventure golf
The nine-hole outdoor course looks over the Salthill promenade and costs €10 per adult and €8 per child. Putters and balls come from the golf hut (card only) or reception, and it runs weather permitting.
Catch a show at the events centre
The 1,010-seat centre (1,200 standing) hosts concerts, comedy, exhibitions and conferences, and has welcomed everyone from Christy Moore to Tommy Tiernan and Dara Ó Briain.
Coffee dock and family day out
A coffee dock, birthday-party packages, seasonal summer camps and Curry's Fun Fair round off a family day out. Lockers need a refundable €1 coin and WiFi is free for customers.

- Hours: Pools follow public sessions: weekdays 7:30-9:30am (adults, lanes only), 12:30-2pm and 6-8pm (6-7:30pm Wednesdays); Saturday 8-9:30am and 2:15-5pm; Sunday 8-9:30am and 11am-5pm. Gym: Mon-Fri 7am-10pm, Sat-Sun and bank holidays 8am-6pm.
- Admission: Adults €11, children €9-€10, under-4s free; family pass €32-€34. Adventure golf €10 per adult, €8 per child.
- Parking: On-site car park with 142 spaces and EV charge points. Pay-as-you-go visitors pay to park (reported at €2 per hour or €12 per day); parking is validated for gym and pool members. Accessible parking is at the rear entrance.
- Food: A coffee dock serves drinks and snacks on site; the site does not list a full restaurant.
