About
A five-acre family-run open farm near Naas where children hold rabbits, bottle-feed lambs and ride ponies — deliberately low-key, with picnics encouraged and a café on site.
Things to Do
Café Asta
The on-site café, opened in 2022, seats 30 indoors with extra outdoor tables. Barista coffee, soup, paninis, toasted sandwiches, sausage rolls, chips, chicken nuggets, sausages and sweet treats; the menu changes with the seasons.
Meet and feed the animals
Around 30 different types of animals live on the farm, from ponies and goats to piglets and poultry. Staff hand children buckets of feed, and will let them hold the rabbits and chicks.
Pony rides for small children
Short pony rides for younger visitors are included in the admission price, along with petting sessions with the baby animals.
Scenic walk
A marked scenic walk loops through the farm, and reviewers mention a fairy trail — an easy stroll on paths the farm describes as buggy and wheelchair friendly.
Easter egg hunt
At Easter the farm runs an egg hunt with the Easter Bunny and Big Bird, tractor rides, a colouring competition and picture spots. Tickets are for fixed dates and are non-refundable in bad weather.
Halloween pumpkin patch
Three days of timed morning and afternoon slots to pick a pumpkin, meet the witch at her cauldron and take a tractor ride. Arrive no more than five minutes before your slot.

- Hours: Open 28 March to the last weekend in September. March, April, May, June and September: weekends and bank holidays only, 11am-5pm. July and August: seven days a week (1 July to 26 August 2026), 11am-5pm. Closed in October apart from the Halloween event.
- Admission: Adults €5, children €6, under 24 months free
- Parking: Large gravel car park with room for cars and buses; free parking. The gravel surface is worth noting.
- Food: Café Asta on site: barista coffee, soup, paninis, toasted sandwiches, sausage rolls, chips, chicken nuggets, sausages and sweet treats. The farm encourages visitors to bring picnics.
